- Deep wave shrinkage: Hangs at around 70-80% of stated length. A 24 inch order finishes near 18 inches, which is still the longest coloured wave we stock.
- Starts at 14 inches, not 10: The shortest option here is longer than in the curly #99J, because the deep wave pattern needs length to read properly. Below 14 inches it looks compressed.
- Same #99J, different behaviour: The colour is identical to our curly and straight burgundy wigs. The wave pattern changes how it reads in light, which is worth showing a client side by side.
- Do not lift it: #99J is a processed red. It takes a gloss, it does not take bleach.
- Detangle wet, never dry: Deep wave locks together when dry. Condition, detangle with fingers from the ends up, then let it air dry without disturbing the pattern.
- Wave breaks up any tone difference: The deep wave pattern scatters light along the strand, so small batch-to-batch differences in a red are far less visible here than on our straight burgundy bob.

- Detangle gently from ends to roots with a wide-tooth comb before washing
- Wash with sulfate-free color-safe shampoo in lukewarm water every 7-10 days
- Apply a deep conditioning mask to maintain moisture in the deep wave texture, leave for 10-15 minutes
- Rinse with cool water and gently scrunch waves to maintain the deep wave pattern
- Air dry on a wig stand or use a diffuser on low heat — avoid rubbing with a towel
- Refresh waves between washes with a water and conditioner mix in a spray bottle
