- Detangle gently with a wide-tooth comb starting from the ends before washing
- Wash with sulfate-free color-safe shampoo in lukewarm water every 7-10 days
- Apply a moisturizing conditioner or deep-conditioning mask, leave for 5-10 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water to seal the cuticle and lock in moisture
- Air dry on a wig stand or use a diffuser on low heat to maintain curl definition
- Apply a lightweight argan oil serum to keep curls hydrated and shiny between washes
