The question we ask before quoting

We can quote a product list. We would rather start one step earlier than that.

The buyers who do well here open by telling us who their end customer is: salon clients wanting length, an online retail audience, a market with a particular texture preference. The ones who struggle open with a price question and then choose whatever comes back cheapest.

That single difference sits behind most of what goes wrong later. A buyer working from price skips the sample, or orders one and never tests it, or picks an attachment method because it costs least per head rather than because it suits the client in the chair. Those look like three separate mistakes. They almost always arrive together.

Which means we should say plainly what it makes us: if the lowest price is the only thing that matters on your order, we are the wrong factory. Single-donor raw hair costs more at source than collection waste, and no processing step closes that gap. Better you hear it now than after a deposit.

So the most useful first message you can send is a description of who you sell to. The product recommendation follows from that, and so does the quote.

Minimum order: 4 pieces per SKU

Our minimum is 4 pieces per SKU — one texture, one length, one colour. There is no minimum on the order as a whole, so you can combine several SKUs to build exactly the range you want to test.

In practice that means a first order can be genuinely small. Four pieces each of three lengths in one texture is a twelve-piece order, and it tells you far more about a supplier than a single sample does, because you see consistency between pieces rather than one cherry-picked bundle.

Pricing: quoted, not published

We do not publish fixed discount tiers, and it is worth explaining why rather than leaving you to guess.

Raw hair cost varies by texture, length and grade, and it moves with the collection season. A single percentage applied across a catalogue would mean either overcharging on some products or quoting a number we cannot hold. Pricing also depends on your mix: an order weighted toward long lengths behaves differently from the same dollar value in short bundles.

So we quote per order. Send the products, textures, lengths and quantities you need and we will send our current wholesale policy with the pricing that applies to that mix. If you are comparing suppliers, ask each of them for the same thing in writing.

Samples: paid, at listed price

Samples are ordered at the listed product price and paid up front. Allow around 7 days from payment to dispatch.

We do not give free samples, and we would encourage scepticism of suppliers who do. A free sample is selected by the supplier; a paid sample comes from the same stock a real order would. The point of sampling is to find out what you will actually receive.

When it arrives, test it properly: wash it five times, bleach a small section, weigh it dry against the stated weight, and run your fingers root to tip and back to check cuticle direction. We would rather you did all four than take our word for it.

Experienced buyers run those tests. Buyers on a first order almost never do, and it is the clearest line between the two groups. Our sample ordering page sets out each test and what a pass and a fail look like.

Lead times

In-stock items dispatch within 24 hours of cleared payment. Made-to-order items — custom colours, specific lengths, wig construction, private label runs — take 5 to 7 days to produce before they ship.

Transit is separate from production. Add roughly 2-4 days for Asia, 3-5 days for the USA and Canada, 4-7 days for Europe, 5-8 days for Africa and 5-10 days for South America. If you are working to a fixed date, tell us the date rather than the order, and we will tell you the latest day we can start.

Payment terms

Orders begin with a 30-50% deposit. Where in that range depends on order size and whether we have worked together before. The balance falls due once production is complete and before the order ships — not on delivery, and never fully up front.

We accept bank transfer (T/T), PayPal, Western Union and MoneyGram. If a supplier ever asks you for 100% before production starts, that is worth questioning regardless of who they are.

Shipping and customs: DDP

We ship DDP — Delivered Duty Paid. Import duties and taxes are paid by us and are already inside the price we quote you. Nothing is billed to you on delivery.

This matters more than it sounds. Most hair suppliers quote ex-works or DAP, where the duty bill arrives with the courier and lands on you, often at a rate you had not budgeted for. A DDP quote is the landed cost. When you compare our quote against another supplier, check which term theirs uses before assuming ours is higher.

OEM and private label

Private label production starts at a $5,000 minimum order. Printed paper labels are included at no additional cost. Other branded materials — boxes, hang tags, care cards, packaging inserts — are quoted separately at preferential rates.

1. Tell us who you sell to, and send the products, textures, lengths and quantities you are considering.
2. We reply with our wholesale policy and a quote for that mix, usually within a few hours during business hours.
3. Order a sample. Test it. Keep it as your reference for every future order.
4. Place a first order at 4 pieces per SKU, pay the deposit, and we begin.
